Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries after the vehicle they were in overturned and landed on its roof early Wednesday near the intersection of Rockville Pike and Veirs Mill Road in Rockville.
The collision happened shortly after 1 a.m., according to the Rockville Volunteer Fire Department, which posted pictures of the mangled black sedan to the fire department’s Facebook page.
Pete Piringer, spokesman for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services, said an 18-year-old woman and another adult whose age he did not know were injured in the accident. Firefighters had to extract the two people from the vehicle.
The intersection where the car overturned is located near the southern entrance to downtown Rockville.
