Update – 10 a.m. – Police say a missing Bethesda elderly woman has been located safe this morning.
Original Report – 8 a.m., Monday – Police are asking for the public’s help to find a 95-year-old Bethesda woman who was last seen on Wednesday.
Police said Gertrude Marion Haugan, of the 4700 block of Chelsea Lane, has not contacted family or friends since April 22, but they recovered her vehicle, a 1996 Toyota Camry, in an alley off of 7413 Maple Avenue in Bethesda.
Police described Haugan as a white woman, about 5-feet-2 inches tall who weighs about 110 pounds.
Haugan’s family and police are concerned about the woman’s welfare and are asking anyone who may have information to call them at 301-279-8000.
