Police Blotter: Indecent Exposure in Bethesda; Vehicles Burglarized in Wyngate Neighborhood

Eight thefts from vehicles

Eight vehicles located nearby each other in Bethesda’s Wyngate neighborhood had property taken from them sometime between April 6 and April 10. Police believe the incidents may be related. Each theft involved forced entry. Police provided the following map showing the locations of the incidents:

Indecent exposure on Wisconsin Avenue

A man exposed himself and was seen masturbating at 7707 Wisconsin Avenue around 6:45 p.m. on April 7.

Construction site burglarized

Someone took property from a construction site at 8300 Wisconsin Avenue sometime overnight between April 9 and April 10.

Residential burglary on Osceola Road

Property was taken after someone forced their way into a residence in the 5800 block of Osceola Road sometime between April 7 and April 9.

Chevy Chase

Burglary on Western Avenue

Two men took property from a residence in the 5500 block of Western Avenue on April 10. There were signs of forced entry at the home. Police did not provide detailed descriptions of the suspects.

Residential burglary on Merivale Road

Property was taken from a residence in the 4700 block of Merivale Road sometime on April 7.

Copper theft

Copper was taken from a construction site located at 12400 Park Potomac Avenue sometime between April 10 and April 13.

Four teens among five arrested in residential burglary

Four young men who range from 16 to 18 years old as well as a 28-year-old man were arrested after a residential burglary was reported in the 11600 block of Flings Grove Lane on April 13. Police believe the suspects forced their way into the home, but nothing was taken.
