Eight possibly related thefts from vehicles
Eight thefts from vehicles were reported between April 6 and April 10 between evening and early morning. Because the incidents all happened with a few blocks of one another, police believe the thefts may be related. The thefts happened on Wyngate Drive, Walton Road, Rollins Drive and Ewing Drive.
Indecent exposure
A man was seen exposing himself at 7707 Wisconsin Ave. in Bethesda at 6:46 p.m. on April 7.
Residential burglary
A residential burglary was reported in the 5800 block of Osceola Road between April 7 and April 9.
Construction site theft
A construction site at 8300 Wisconsin Avenue was broken into and property was taken between 3:30 p.m. April 9 and 7 a.m. April 10.
Chevy Chase
Residential burglaries
A pair of residential burglaries were reported. One occurred in the 4700 block of Merivale Road on April 7. The other occurred in the 5500 block of Western Avenue in Chevy Chase on April 10.
Potomac
Residential burglary
Two 21-year-old men were arrested after what police say was an attempted residential burglary in the 100 block of Piney Meetinghouse Court on April 12 at 12:55 a.m.
Construction site theft
A theft of copper materials occurred at a construction site at 12400 Park Potomac Avenue sometime between April 10 and April 13.
Residential burglary
A residential burglary occurred in the 11600 block of Flints Grove Lane on April 13 between 5:50 p.m. and 11:58 p.m. Entry was forced but nothing was taken. Five males, ages 16-28, are suspected of being involved.
Rockville
Attempted burglary
Police reported an attempted residential burglary in the in the 1900 block of Gainsboro Road on April 11 at 3:14 a.m. No forced entry was made and nothing was taken.
Gaithersburg
Armed robbery
Police say a person was robbed in the 100 block of East Diamond Avenue at 7:30 p.m. on April 12 by two suspects displaying a handgun.
Strong-arm robbery
Police say a person was assaulted and robbed in the 900 block of West Side Drive in Montgomery Village on April 10 at 10:30 p.m.
Residential burglary
A residential burglary occurred in the 800 block of Clopper Road on April 11 between 7:30 a.m. and 10:56 p.m.
Thefts from vehicles
Police believe three thefts from vehicles are related. They occurred in the parking garage at 558 S. Frederick Avenue between April 10 and April 11. Another pair of thefts from vehicles are also believed to be related. They occurred on Maple Leaf Drive between April 7 at 7 p.m. and April 8 at 7:30 a.m.
