O.A.R.,Band
This American rock band featuring lead vocalist Marc Roberge, drummer Chris Culos, guitarist Richard On, bassist Benj Gershman and saxophonist/guitarist Jerry DePizzo was started in Rockville in 1996. In 2014 O.A.R., which stands for “Of a Revolution,” released its latest album, The Rockville LP. DePizzo is the only band member who is not from Maryland; Roberge, Culos, On, and Gershman all graduated from Thomas S. Wootton High School in Rockville.
