Dave Chappelle, Comedian
Best known for his comedy sketch TV series, Chappelle’s Show, Dave Chappelle was born in the District and raised in Silver Spring where he attended Woodlin Elementary School. Since the end of his show in 2006, Chappelle has focused on his stand-up routine and in 2007 set an endurance record at the Laugh Factory with a set that was three hours and 50 minutes long. He lives with his family in Ohio.
