Chief Justice Reports For Jury Duty In Rockville — Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts reported for jury duty Wednesday in Rockville. Roberts, who lives in Chevy Chase, wasn’t selected for the civil trial involving a 2013 car crash. [Washington Post]

Public Meeting On St Elmo Apartment Project — The developer behind a proposed 16-story, 210-unit apartment tower in Woodmont Triangle is holding another public meeting on Thursday to provide an update on the project. The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at Bethesda Elementary School (7600 Arlington Road).

Bethesda Literary Festival Starts Friday — The annual Bethesda Literary Festival returns tomorrow and runs through the weekend at various sites in downtown Bethesda. Military Discount Program Grows — A military discount program has grown to 59 local businesses. The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce, Montgomery County Regional Services Center, Bethesda Urban Partnership and Yellow Ribbon Fund put the program together as a way to strengthen ties between downtown Bethesda businesses and the many who work on-base at Naval Support Activity – Bethesda.
