Bethesda’s newest apartment building should be ready for residents to move in by the beginning of June, according to a spokeswoman for the developer.
The Flats, a 162-unit apartment building, near the intersection of Woodmont and Bethesda avenues and across the street from Bethesda Row’s restaurants and shops, features amenities like a rooftop demonstration kitchen, a two-level club space with a fireplace and pool table and an outdoor patio overlooking the Capital Crescent Trail.
Rents for the building range from $2,500 per month for a 600-square-foot, one-bedroom apartment to nearly $6,000 per month for a 1,400-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bathroom space.

A spokeswoman for the Flats said Friday that the retail stores at the Lot 31 project, which also includes the Darcy condo building, will begin opening the second week of June and continue until August. Restaurants such as PassionFish, Chop’t, a new Silver Diner concept and Paul Bakery as well as retailers such as Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids are slated to open at the new development.
The project, which was developed by StonebridgeCarras and PN Hoffman, will join the Bainbridge Bethesda and Gallery Bethesda as the latest luxury residential buildings to open during the building boom that’s ongoing downtown.
Amenities at the building include a lounge space and concierge services. (via The Flats)
