NIH Ebola Patient Recovers — The American healthcare worker who was admitted to the NIH Clinical Center on March 13 with the Ebola virus has been successfully treated and released. NIH announced the individual is no longer contagious. The person requested that no further information be provided. [NIH]

Hogan, Democratic Leaders Far Apart On Budget — Gov. Larry Hogan and Democratic lawmakers in Annapolis say they’re looking for compromise on the state’s budget before the 2015 General Assembly is set to end next week. Meanwhile, both sides have been making critical statements. Some Democrats questioned Hogan’s knowledge of the legislative process. Hogan’s political organization tweeted out that the Republican governor easily won the districts of Senate President Mike Miller and House Speaker Michael Busch in last year’s election. Bloomin’ Birdathon In Chevy Chase — The Audubon Naturalist Society’s 35th Annual Bloomin’ Birdathon is set to start on Earth Day, April 22 and will run through Memorial Day in May. Expert and novice birders alike will gather at Audubon’s Chevy Chase sanctuary (8940 Jones Mill Road) for a series of events. A fundraising component of the Birdathon lets individuals or teams count as many wildflower or bird species as they can in one 24-hour period. [Audubon Naturalist Society]
