Time: All through the month of April, with a dance party at April 25
A kid-fueled fundraiser to support the Noyes Children’s Library in Kensington, Md., begins April 1 as readers and pre-readers (parents read to children) pore through books with a purpose. Pledges per page from adult sponsors will go towards renovations to Noyes to create a library that is a model of universal accessibility and a center for early literacy and children’s literature.

Remember the childhood days of hunting for Easter Eggs? Whether you’re young or old at heart, the Church in Bethesda welcomes you to our all-ages Easter Egg Hunt. We’ll place eggs at various levels of difficulty so that everyone can have a challenge and a great time. We’ll also be serving lunch, so be sure to bring an appetite.

C&O Canal Pride Days

Canal Pride Days are coming! Come join the largest volunteer event in the C&O Canal National Historical Park! VOLUNTEERS NEEDED to help clean up the C&O Canal for Spring! As the warm weather approaches, the C&O Canal Trust is hitting the towpath for some spring cleaning and they need your help! Help clear debris, paint shelters, exhibits, and benches, help maintain trails, and more. Grab your family and friends and come help out – show your Canal Pride! Students can also earn SSL hours! Choose from one of these three Canal Pride events and sign up today (preregistration required).
