Chicken on the Run—a Peruvian chicken restaurant in Woodmont Triangle that caught fire March 7—reopened on Sunday, according to the restaurant’s Facebook page.
The restaurant suffered about $75,000 in the fire that was caused by grease build-up in the building’s duct work, according to Montgomery Fire and Rescue Services spokesman Pete Piringer.
The chicken spot at 4933 St. Elmo Ave. is offering 15 percent off customers' next purchase until March 27 if you mention their Facebook page.
The restaurant planned to be closed for two weeks after the fire for repairs, and that’s about exactly how long it took until it was able to reopen.
