March 24, 2015 4:30 p.m.

On Sunday (March 22) 21 teams gathered to face off at the 10th Annual Dodging Diabetes Charity Dodgeball Tournament for the chance to win their team's picture on the front of a box of Wheaties cereal. The charity tournament was founded by Bethesda natives Anna Tiedeman Irwin and Elizabeth Kramer Dugan who both have brothers (Andy Tiedeman and David Kramer) that live with Type 1 diabetes. All of the money raised from this volunteer-run event is donated to JDRF and the Joslin Diabetes Center. The duo has raised more than $150,000 in 10 years. www.dodgingdiabetes.org.
