Jewelry Store to Replace Former Picture Frame Shop at Bethesda Row

Kendra Scott plans to open a store on Bethesda Avenue in July

A new retailer is joining the lineup at Bethesda Row.

Kendra Scott, a jewelry store, is planning to open a new Bethesda store at the Federal Realty development in July, according to the company’s website.

The store will replace the former Picture Frame Shop in an approximately 1,500 square foot space at 4835 Bethesda Ave. The Picture Frame Shop closed last summer after a nearly 35-year run in Bethesda.

Kendra Scott, which launched in 2002 and is based in Austin, Texas, sells earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings at 18 retail locations in the United States.
