Parks, Recreation To Talk North Bethesda Projects — Those interested in a trio of projects in North Bethesda/White Flint will likely be interested in a capital budget forum held by Montgomery Parks on April 23. At the forum, Parks and a Recreation Advisory Board will talk projects for the county’s next capital budget, including Josiah Henson Park, a new North Bethesda community recreation center and improvements to Kennedy Shriver Aquatic Center. Ride On Buses Will Warn Pedestrians — The county’s Ride On bus system is doing a pilot with four buses that will have an audible warning sound whenever a bus driver turns the wheel 45 degrees in either direction. The sound is to warn pedestrians in crosswalks of turning vehicles and remind other drivers to watch for pedestrians at internsections. [Montgomery County]
