A driver crashed into and through a pharmacy at a Bethesda shopping center on Thursday afternoon.
There were no injuries to the driver or people inside the building, police said.
The incident happened at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Westbard Rite Aid (5350 Westbard Avenue). The vehicle took down an exterior wall, window and some shelves inside the store.
Police have shut down the building to business until an engineer can assess the structural damage.
The car, a blue BMW, remained lodged inside the store.
