Our reward for surviving a snowy winter might be some more snow on the first day of spring.
The National Weather Service is calling for a chance of rain and snow after midnight Thursday and then snow before 9 a.m. Friday before more rain after noon. The NWS puts the chances of snow on Friday morning at 80 percent.
The Washington Post’s Capital Weather Gang says areas north of D.C. are likely to get a coating to one inch of snow, though accumulation should happen only on grassy areas.
