Police say three men captured on surveillance videos may have something to do with a Feb. 26 robbery of a man walking his dog in Bethesda.
Police said the 58-year-old man was walking his dog around 6:15 p.m. on Linden Avenue near Pooks Hill Road when two men approached him, assaulted him, and stole his wallet and phone. The two men then entered a black sedan and fled the area. Police believe a third man may have been involved as a getaway driver.
The victim suffered bruises and abrasions in the attack, according to police.
Detectives determined the victim’s stolen credit cards were used to make purchases at two Prince George’s County retail stores. On Monday, police released two videos showing three men, believed to be suspects in the case, leaving the stores.
Anyone with information about the men is asked to call police at 1-866-411-8477.
