North Potomac

Aggravated assault

A 17-year-old male from Washington, D.C. was arrested following an aggravated assault reported Feb. 12 at 12:28 a.m. at the Seven-11 at 10020 Darnestown Road.

Thefts

Four thefts were reported between Feb. 9 and Feb. 17 on Frost Valley Way, Gatewater Terrace and Gateway Drive. Items taken included cash, cell phones and a laptop computer.

Sexual Assault

A sexual assault was reported in the 13100 block of Parkland Drive between in the night between Feb. 13 and 14. Police say the suspect was known to the victim.

Bethesda

Armed robbery

Police are searching for two suspects in connection with an armed robbery in the 8800 block of Clewerwall Drive on Feb. 16 at 5:30 p.m. The suspects are described as two white men in their 30s, about 6 feet tall.

Burglary

A residential burglary reportedly occurred in the 6700 block of Newbold Drive between Feb. 11 and Feb. 13.

Thefts

Three thefts from vehicles were reported between Feb. 9 and Feb. 17 on Montgomery Avenue and St. Elmo Avenue in Bethesda, and on Fairglen Lane in Chevy Chase. Items taken included cash, glasses, chargers and an iPad. Police report ten thefts from vehicles on Walhounding Road, Wissioming Road, Broxburn Drive and Ben Avon Road between Feb. 9 and Feb. 17.

North Bethesda

Aggravated assault

Police are searching for a homeless man suspected of aggravated assault at 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 11 at the Marriott Conference Center, 5701 Marinelli Road. Police say the suspect assaulted the victim and fled. He is described as a black man, bearded, 6-feet-two-inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds.
