While Bethesda and Chevy Chase had about five inches of snow on Saturday, most of Montgomery County saw at least seven inches and some in Damascus and Clarksburg saw as much as 12 and 13.
The more-than-forecasted snowfall led the county to close recreation centers and libraries for the second straight day on Sunday. It also meant a massive snow plowing and snow removal operation before temperatures dropped again today.
The Montgomery County Department of Transportation said its plow crews hit neighborhood streets at daybreak Sunday.
Once finished with that, crews came back to downtown Bethesda on Sunday night to clean up snow that had been plowed onto curbs and crosswalk entrances at major intersections.
Overall, what grade would you give Montgomery County on its latest snow removal effort?
