A former Washington, D.C., karate instructor has been charged with multiple sexual offenses after he was arrested by Montgomery County police in January for allegedly sexually abusing a Chevy Chase boy in the 1980s and ‘90s.

Police announced Thursday the arrest of Jorge Raul Allica, 56, of 13th Street in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 29 after an investigation determined he sexually abused the boy from 1984 to 1994 while the boy was Allica’s student at the Aikido Shobukan Dojo on Butternut Street NW in the District.

Allica was charged with 11 first- to third-degree sex offenses, according to online court records.

During the investigation, police identified an additional victim and now believe there may be other victims.
