The real estate service MRIS is tapping into the pre-Oscar buzz by distributing information about Washington, D.C.-area homes for sale complete with in-house theaters.

Sure, hanging out in a home theater might be a great way to spend an evening watching Sunday night’s Academy Awards show. But given the frigid cold outside, maybe the theaters could be better described as warming huts, complete with movies.

Here are three homes for sale in Potomac and Bethesda, and their home theaters:

8200 Kingsgate Road, Potomac – List price: $1.9 million

What we like about this theater: The dark paint and geometric designs give this theater a formal look. Also, the reclining chairs look comfy.

11513 Dalyn Terrace, Potomac – List price: $2.1 million

What we like about this theater: The pink couch screams Rom-Com haven, but the posters on the wall for movies including Braveheart and Rocky show there’s more happening in this theater than snuggle sessions.
