Police Blotter: Bethesda Business Burglarized by Man Dressed as Construction Worker

The following incidents were reported to Montgomery County police from Jan. 19 to 27

Bethesda

Commercial burglary at Dynalectric Co.

A man took property after forcing his way into Dynalectric Co. at 7171 Woodmont Ave. around 4:30 a.m. Jan. 27. Police described the man as a 6-foot-tall, black male who was dressed as a construction worker wearing brown coveralls and a white hard hat. Police said the man drove away in a dark-colored SUV with a yellow caution light on the roof.

Vehicles burglarized at YMCA parking lot

Bags were taken from three vehicles parked at the YMCA on Old Georgetown Road during the afternoon of Jan. 23 and the afternoon of Jan. 26. Forced entry was made to the vehicles.

Residential burglary on Nahant Street

A home in the 5000 block of Nahant Street was broken into Jan. 27. Police did not provide additional information.

Residential burglary on Saul Road

Property was taken Jan. 22 from a residence in the 4000 block of Saul Road after someone broke into the home.

Rockville

Purse, iPhone stolen from vehicle

A vehicle parked in the 600 block of Hungerford Drive was broken into and a purse and an iPhone were stolen. Police did not provide a date or time for the incident.

Five vehicles burglarized

Multiple items including an iPod, cash, a cell phone and paper files were taken from vehicles on Wild Olive and Coldstream drives from Jan. 19 to 27.

Residential burglary on Bevern Lane

Property was taken from a residence in the 10100 block of Bevern Lane between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Jan. 22. Police did not find any signs of forced entry.

Residential burglary on Hidden Meadow Terrace

Property was taken after someone broke into a residence in the 7000 block of Hidden Meadow Terrace between noon and 1:40 p.m. Jan. 23.

Potomac

Residential burglary on Potomac Crest Drive

Property was taken after someone broke into a home in the 11200 block of Potomac Crest Drive between noon and 1 p.m. Jan. 25.
