A Bethesda man was killed in a collision when the car he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree in Columbia early Wednesday morning, according to Howard County Police.
Police said Emmanuel Guillossou, 21, of Pomona Drive in Bethesda, was traveling northbound on Snowden River Parkway around 7:20 a.m. Wednesday when the 2013 Scion FR-S he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Guillossou was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
A preliminary investigation found speed may have contributed to the collision, according to police.
