MCPS Starts Superintendent Search — The Board of Education on Tuesday approved a $35,000 contract with a search firm that will help it find a new superintendent. MCPS said the search will include community forums, focus groups and an online survey to get public input. MoCo 311 Gets High Marks — About 77 percent of survey-takers said they were satisfied with their overall experience with the county’s 311 service. The MC311 call center gets an average of 40,000 calls a month and creates more than 500,000 requests for service and information annually.
