Last Wednesday, November 12, 2014, Taste Gastropub welcomed a group of leading local business men to a five course wine tasting dinner benefitting the Hearts & Homes for Youth organization of Montgomery County. The sold out event was hosted by Taste Gastropub Owner Vic Seested of UBS Private Wealth Management, Sommelier and Chef Danny Lledo, Founder and CEO of Hearts & Homes for Youth, Rex Smith, and special guest Giancarlo Esposito of fame.
The actor spoke to guests about the importance of actively supporting the organization that provides a brighter future for at risk youth. The event raised over $10,000 and featured wine from Grapes of Spain and a gourmet tasting menu that included Pan Seared Scallops with Bacon and Corn Cream Sauce, Mediterranean Salad, Pan Seared Duck Breast with red wine dried cherry sauce, Pan Seared Salmon with artichokes, carrots and white wine and the Chefs Double Chocolate Surprise for dessert.
