Get ready, spinning fans: the SoulCycle studio coming to Elm Street is scheduled to open in December.

The fitness company made the announcement Thursday as a blackout wrap went up on the new Bethesda location at 4931 Elm St.

The Bethesda studio will feature 53 bikes and separate locker rooms for men and women that will be equipped with showers. SoulCycle’s specialized workouts focus on high-intensity cardio coupled with upper body weight training. The company’s studios are candlelit and classes are led by instructors.

Classes at SoulCycle range from $30 for one class to $780 for 30 classes, according to the company’s D.C. price listings.

SoulCycle’s  workouts have gained somewhat of a cult-like following, with celebrities singing the brand’s praises and regulars in New York City panicking when their local studio shut down for renovations.

The company has 30 locations nationwide, including one on M Street in the District that opened in July.

SoulCycle’s Bethesda location is in the space formerly occupied by Ri Ra Irish Pub. Part of the former pub is being leased by Noodles and Co., which plans to open its new store Oct. 13.
