Several New Restaurants to Participate in 25th Annual Taste of Bethesda

The annual local food showcase takes place Oct. 11

Taste of Bethesda is now less than a month away.

The annual local food showcase this year will take place on Oct. 11 and among the dozens of local restaurants attending, there will be several new restaurants.

First-timers include 4935 Bar & Kitchen, Heckman’s Delicatessen, PizzaPass, Tyber Bierhaus, Gringos and Mariachis, Bethesda Curry Kitchen  and Shophouse.

Bethesda Urban Partnership, the organizers of the event, also released a list of the musical and dance acts who will be performing at the five different stages at the festival.

Among them are Big Daddy Stalling, The Billy Coulter Band, Chopteeth Afro Funk, Hard Swimmin’ Fish and dance acts such as Soul in Motion, Ancient Rhythms Dance Company and Carpathia Folk Dance Ensemble.

Admission to the event is free, but four food tickets cost $5. Food from restaurants will range from one to four tickets.

The event takes over the Woodmont Triangle area of downtown Bethesda from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
