George Washington University Medical offices burglarized

Property was taken from the GWU Medical Faculty Association offices at 4920 Elm Street sometime between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Man arrested in indecent exposure

A 43-year-old man from Partlow, Va., was arrested in an indecent exposure incident reported on the morning of Aug. 26.

Aggravated assault arrest

Police arrested a 50-year-old man from Washington, D.C., who reportedly threatened a person with a weapon in the 7100 block of Democracy Boulevard around 5:40 p.m. on Sept. 1.

Residential burglary on Clearwood Road

Someone forced their way into a residence in the 6200 block of Clearwood Road sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. on Sept. 2 and took property.

North Bethesda

Vehicles burglarized at Marriott

Two vehicles were burglarized and purses were taken while they were parked in the Marriott lot at 5701 Marinelli Road from Aug. 30 to Sept. 2.

7-Eleven robbed

The 7-Eleven at 7305 MacArthur Blvd. was robbed by a man who displayed a weapon around 4 a.m. on Aug. 27. Police said the man was about 5-foot-6, wearing all black clothing, gloves and a bandana mask.

Kensington

43-year-old arrested in vehicle theft

Police arrested a 43-year-old Kensington man on the evening of Aug. 27 after police said he took a vehicle from a gas station parking lot at 10616 Connecticut Avenue.

Chevy Chase

Residential burglary on Lenhart Drive

Someone forced their way into a home in the 7100 block of Lenhart Drive sometime during the evening of Sept. 2 and stole property.

Potomac

Armed robbery at CVS

A man threatened a person with a weapon and took property inside the CVS at 7955 Tuckerman Lane around 4:40 a.m. on Aug. 28. Police described the suspect as a black man, about 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, with la light complexion, who was wearing a black and white bandana, tan headband, blue sweatshirt and black jeans.

Aggravated assault on Hayworth Drive

A 27-year-old Takoma Park man was arrested after an aggravated assault in the 13500 block of Hayworth Drive on Aug. 28. Police reported the man knew the victim.

Burglary on Powder Horn Drive

Property was taken from a residence in the 11100 block of Powder Horn Drive sometime during the day on Aug. 29. Police reported no signs of forced entry.

Paddock Lane home burglarized

Someone forced their way into a residence in the 9200 block of Paddock Lane and took property sometime between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Sept. 2.

Property taken from garage

Someone took property from an open garage on Orchard Way sometime between Aug. 27 and 28.

Germantown

Man arrested in attempted burglary

A 22-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested after police said he attempted to enter a home in the 14300 block of Brickhowe Court around 1:30 a.m. on Aug. 28.

Rockville

Ride-On bus indecent exposure

A man exposed himself on a Ride-On bus while it was traveling near the corner of Redland Road and Needwood Drive around 3:20 p.m. on Aug. 28. Police described the man as a black male, about 6-foot-4, 240 pounds, who was wearing a black baseball cap, gray shirt, black cargo shorts, white shoes and carrying a red backpack with white accents.

Man arrested for indecent exposure

A 29-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested after he exposed himself to someone around 8:30 p.m. Police did not provide an address for the incident.

Purse taken from vehicle

A purse was taken from a vehicle at 1776 Federal Plaza on Sept. 2 around 2:20 p.m.

Vehicle stolen from auto center

A vehicle was stolen from A&D Automotive Center at 535 Southlawn Lane sometime between 2 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 29.
