Georgetown Prep Grad Killed in Ohio Plane Crash

The 18-year-old was aboard the plane with teammates of his college's wrestling team

A graduate of Bethesda’s Georgetown Preparatory School who was starting his freshman year at Case Western Reserve University was killed in a plane crash Monday.

Abraham Pishevar, 18, of Rockville, was one of four young men killed in the crash, which happened shortly after the small plane took off on what was supposed to be a short sight-seeing trip in northern Ohio around 10 p.m., according to The Washington Post.  

The pilot was identified as William Felten, 20, of Michigan, who had a pilot’s license and was a member of the Case Western wrestling team along with Pishevar. The two other passengers on the flight were identified as Lucas Marcelli, 20, of Ohio and John Hill, 18, of Georgia.

Georgetown Prep issued a statement on its website in memory of Pishevar. “Abraham embodied the Georgetown Prep mission. He was a dedicated and enthusiastic student and key contributor on both the varsity football and wrestling teams.”
