There’s a proper way to hold a glass and swirl wine at a tasting. Employees at a local shop will show you before Bethesda Row’s annual Perfect Pairings event.
The tour of 10 Bethesda Row restaurants, set for 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, will again include stops at American Tap Room, Cork & Fork, Jaleo Bethesda, Lebanese Taverna, Mamma Lucia, Mon Ami Gabi, Mussel Bar & Grille, Raku, Redwood Restaurant & Bar and Vino Volo.
The “Perfect Pairings Passport” ($44 in advance and $49 day of) will get you in to the progressive wine tasting tour, which includes tapas-style dishes at each stop.
Before the tour starts, the experts at Cork & Fork (7110 Bethesda Lane) will offer a $10 Wine Etiquette Experience to teach participants how to get the most out of the event. The $10 admission fee will be donated to the ALS Foundation and reservations are required.
Tickets to the main event will include a 10 percent off at new boutique Calypso St. Barth on the same day and 10 percent off a Vino Teano Infuster Bottle at Capital Teas.
