The Fillmore Silver Spring made Billboard’s list of the top 25 most popular music clubs in the U.S., coming in at number 12.
The list looked at attendance numbers reported to Billboard Boxscore from May 1, 2013 to April 30, 2014.
The club, which opened in 2010, racked up a total attendance of 152,332 over the past year, making it the 12th most popular club on the list, preceded by the House of Blues in Cleveland and followed by The Fillmore in Denver.
The Live Nation-owned club has a capacity of 2,000 and is located in Colesville Road in downtown Silver Spring. The venue attracts a wide-range of talent from popular local acts to national touring bands.
Live Nation owned this year’s Billboard list, with its clubs being named 21 of 25 of the most popular venues. The company owns and operates Fillmore and House of Blues clubs across the country. Live Nation’s House of Blues Orlando came in at number one on the Billboard list with an attendance of 339,470.
