Vehicles burglarized at Congressional

Two vehicles were burglarized while parked at Congressional Country Club between July 14 and July 22. Four vehicles were reportedly burglarized at the golf club on July 12, as well.

Woodmont Avenue theft

Someone took property from another person in the 7200 block of Woodmont Avenue between 3:45 and 4 p.m. on July 14.

Sexual offense on Fairmont Avenue

A sexual offense was reported in the 4900 block of Fairmont Avenue during the afternoon of July 17. The victim knew the suspect, according to police.

Robbery on Wapakoneta Road

A man assaulted and took property from someone in the 5200 block of Wapakoneta Road around 3:15 p.m. on July 18.

Exxon on Goldsboro Road burglarized

Property was taken from the Exxon station at 6729 Goldsboro Road in Bethesda on July 14 sometime between 3:20 and 6 a.m.

Sex assault on Westlake Terrace

Someone known to the victim reportedly sexually assaulted him or her in the 7400 block of Westlake Terrace on July 16.

Rockville

Sexual assault on Nelson Street

Police are looking for two men reportedly involved in a sexual assault between 10 and 10:10 p.m. at Woodley Gardens Park in the 900 block of Nelson Street on July 18.

Assault and robbery at Rockville Metro

Three men assaulted and took property from someone at the Rockville Metro station at 251 Hungerford Drive on July 21 at 9 p.m. Police described the suspects as black males, about 18 to 25 years old, each about 5 feet 9 inches tall. Two of the men were described by police as about 160 to 170 pounds, the third about 210 pounds. One was wearing a white tank top and blue jeans, the second man was wearing a white tank top and denim shorts, and the third was described as “chunky” and wearing jeans.

Two men arrested in attempted robbery on Redland Boulevard

Police arrested two men, one 18 with no known address, and the other 17 from North Bethesda, for assaulting someone and attempting to rob him or her at the intersection of Redland Boulevard and Frederick Road on July 22 around 10:30 p.m.

Garage burglary on Lakewood Drive

Property was taken from a garage at a residence in the 10100 block of Lakewood Drive sometime between 5 p.m. on July 15 and 6:45 a.m. on July 16.

Chevy Chase

Four vehicles burglarized

Four vehicles were burglarized on Taylor Street and Ross Road in Chevy Chase and on 16th Street in Silver Spring between July 14 and July 22. Cash, rims, tires, radios, a purse, a cellphone and a TV were taken.

Potomac

River Falls Market burglarized

Someone forced their way into River Falls Market at 10124 River Road in Potomac overnight between July 18 and July 19 and took property.

Kensington

Aggravated assault arrest

A 24-year-old man from Silver Spring was arrested after an aggravated assault was reported in the 3300 block of Glenway Drive on July 17 around 2 p.m.

Silver Spring

String of residential burglaries reported on Woodland Drive

Four residential burglaries were reported at residences in the 9400 block of Woodland Drive on July 21. In each one property was taken and someone had forced their way into the residences.

Elementary school break-in

Nothing was reported stolen, but someone broke in to Rolling Terrace Elementary school at 705 Bayfield Street sometime between 5:45 p.m. and 6 p.m. on July 18.

Sex assault on Hampshire Green Lane

Someone known to the victim sexually assaulted him or her in the 1700 block of Hampshire Green Lane on July 21.

Woman arrested in Olive Branch Drive burglary

Police arrested a 28-year-old Woodstock woman in connection to a burglary on July 19 at a residence in the 3500 block of Olive Branch Drive.
