Updated – 5:30 p.m. Tuesday – Montgomery County Police say one of their officers shot and killed a man who was brandishing a knife inside a Capital One Bank on Arliss Street in Silver Spring Tuesday.
The man was identified as Donvan Bayton, 54, of Silver Spring.
Police said the incident happened just before noon after they responded to a report of the man trespassing at the bank at 8740 Arliss Street.
