Property was taken from a business, which police did not name, after someone gained forced entry in the 4700 block of Montgomery Lane on June 20.

Assault on Pooks Hill

Someone known to the victim assaulted him or her in the 5200 block of Pooks Hill Road on June 22 around 10:30 p.m.

Garage burglary on Winterberry Lane

Loose items, including a car charger, were taken from a vehicle parked inside a residential garage at a house in the 7000 block of Winterberry Lane sometime between midnight and 6 a.m. on June 16.

Residential burglary on Alta Vista Road

Kensington

Bank robbery arrest

Police arrested a 45-year-old man who was found hiding in a shed after a bank robbery at M&T Bank at 10420 Montgomery Ave. on June 23. Police said the man, Jose Mercedes, of Hyattsville, later admitted to three other bank robberies.

Tools taken from shed on Woodson Avenue

Someone forced their way into a shed in the 11100 block of Woodson Avenue and took tools on June 23 at an unknown time.

Rockville

Residential burglary arrest on Twinbrook Parkway

A 29-year-old male from Alexandria, Va., was arrested in connection with a residential burglary, in which property was taken from a home in the 600 block of Twinbrook Parkway on June 20 around 1:45 p.m.

Burglary on Laurel Leaf Drive

Property was taken in a residential burglary in the 7700 block of Laurel Leaf Drive sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on June 14 after someone forced their way into the residence.

Silver Spring

Attempted residential burglary on Rosemary Hills Drive

Someone attempted to enter a home in the 1900 block of Rosemary Hills Drive sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on June 18.

Commercial robbery arrest

A 24-year-old man was arrested after police say he threatened someone with a weapon and robbed the person at the TG Silver Spring Mart at 8211 Fenton St. at 6:19 a.m. on June 20.

Group of men assault person on Georgia Avenue

A group of five to eight men assaulted someone in front of the Society Lounge at 8229 Georgia Ave. and then fled between 2:30 and 2:46 a.m. on June 21.

Indecent exposure at Trader Joe’s

A 43-year-old man from Dumfries, Va., was arrested after police say he exposed himself in the Trader Joe’s parking lot at 10741 Columbia Pike around 9:30 a.m. on June 19.
