Burglary at substance abuse training center

Property was taken after someone forced their way into the American Board of Addiction Medicine at 4300 Montgomery Ave. overnight between June 12 and June 13.

Vehicles burglarized at Metro Center

Three vehicles were burglarized in the parking lot at Bethesda Metro Center sometime between June 11 and June 12. One vehicle had signs of forced entry. Glasses, small electronics and speakers were reported stolen.

Chevy Chase

Attempted burglary

Someone tried to force their way into a residence in the 4200 block of Stanford Street sometime between June 15 and June 16, but nothing was reported stolen.

Vehicles burglarized in Chevy Chase Village

Loose items were taken from three vehicles on West Irving Street and Grafton Street overnight between June 9 and June 10. None of the vehicles showed signs of forced entry.

North Bethesda

Vehicle theft

A vehicle was reported stolen in the 11600 block of Nebel Street sometime between June 12 and June 13. Attempts to steal two other vehicles on the same block were also reported.

Thefts from vehicles in Rosemary Hills

Five vehicles were burglarized in the Rosemary Hills area of Silver Spring between June 9 and June 16. The vehicles were parked at Rock Creek Sports Club or on Grubb Road, Colston Drive and Michigan Avenue. A purse, keys, a GPS, a checkbook and a DVD player were stolen.

Rockville

Burglary on Laurel Leaf Drive

Someone forced their way into a residence in the 7700 block of Laurel Leaf Drive and took property sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on June 16.

Potomac

Hall Road burglary

Someone took property from a residence in the 9900 block of Hall Road sometime between 12:15 and 1:45 p.m. on June 16.

Silver Spring

Home invasion and robbery

Five men forced their way into a home in the 8700 block of Kodiak Drive, threatened the inhabitants with weapons and stole property and vehicles sometime overnight between 10 p.m. on June 13 and 7:31 a.m. on June 14.

Robbery and assault on Sligo Avenue

Someone assaulted and robbed another person in the 700 block of Sligo Avenue on June 13 around 2 a.m. Police did not provide a detailed suspect description.

Assault at McDonald’s

Someone who knew the victim assaulted him or her inside the McDonald’s at 8507 Colesville Road around 6 p.m. on June 11.

Stolen vehicles

Two vehicles were stolen overnight on June 15 to June 16 from lots on West Falkland Lane and Sligo Avenue.

Arrest in assault

A 54-year-old Silver Spring man was arrested in an aggravated assault on June 13 at 6:37 p.m. at the intersection of Dale Drive and Dartmouth Avenue.

Indecent exposure on Georgia Avenue

A man in a gray Nissan reportedly exposed himself around 10:45 a.m. on June 9 in the 10300 block of Georgia Avenue.
