“We are the Chamber,” invoked Clyde D. Garrett of Monument Bank, the newly installed Chair of The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce.
Held at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda on June 16th, The 88th Annual Installation and Awards Luncheon brought together 250 business leaders and local legislators to celebrate the successful past year and the beginning of the next.
The program included the installation of the newest board members and the recommitment of the continuing board members by Rear Admiral Raquel C. Bono, director, National Capital Region Medical Directorate, chief, Navy Medical Corps.
Sponsored by Pepco, the Police Officer of the Year Award was presented to PO2 Sean Petty (Montgomery County Police, 2nd District). The Dick Price Business Award was presented to the Hyatt Regency, Bethesda and the William Prescott Allen Award was presented to Harry W. Lerch of Lerch, Early & Brewer. The Chair’s Award was presented to Past Chairman Andy Stern of Andy Stern’s Office Furniture.
