UPDATED Tuesday Montgomery County Police say two suspects walked up to a homeowner on Monday afternoon before forcing her into her Farnham Drive house and putting her and her husband at gunpoint.
Police are still investigating the home invasion robbery and carjacking in the 10500 block of Farnham Drive, a quiet neighborhood near the Wildwood Shopping Center on Old Georgetown Road.
Police say the incident happened at 1:52 p.m. Once inside, the two suspects stole property. A small child was also in the house during the robbery. No one was hurt. After leaving the home, police say the suspects stole the victim’s gold Cadillac Escalade, which they abandoned within the hour at the intersection of Berkshire Drive and Yorkshire Terrace.
Police set up a perimeter around the Wildwood Shopping Center, searching stores and banks that the victims belonged to. At least one ATM card was stolen in the robbery.
Police are describing the suspects as a black male in his 20s with a black ski mask and dark and baggy clothing and a black male in his 20s with a handgun, dreadlocks, dark clothing, a wool hat and blue and white scarf.
