In honor of Veteran's Day, the Bullis 8th grade class traveled to Arlington National Cemetery to participate in the National Veterans Day Ceremony. At this event, students heard many distinguished speakers, including President Obama, and watched the traditional wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Students were required to connect with a veteran and conduct an interview to gain perspective about their service experience. Another part of the visit was spending time at the gravesite of General Doolittle, where the last three surviving Doolittle Raiders paid tribute to their fallen brothers.
