On Sunday, October 20th, Potomac Conservancy, a local conservation organization working to safeguard the lands and the waters of the Potomac, held its 6th Annual Potomac River Jam in partnership with Takoma Park Farmers Market.
At the event, community residents learned more about Potomac Conservancy’s programs and what they could do to help protect our nation’s river, while enjoying live local music from Bill Jenkins’ World of Music and the New Southern Cowtippers and special activities including pumpkin painting, a raffle and face painting.
