Bethesda Green celebrated five years promoting sustainable living at the newly renovated Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club, where the non-profit group first launched.
Over 300 people gathered to recognize Bethesda Green’s accomplishments and support their mission to make Bethesda, Montgomery County, and the region a more sustainable place to live.
A VIP reception kicked off the evening followed by a networking event where attendees met the 2013 Bethesda Magazine Green Award Winners, bid on environmentally friendly silent auction items, and enjoyed food from Olazzo, Cava Mezze Grill, and Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club.
The highlight of the evening was a parody video featuring Bethesda Green Executive Director Dave Feldman and Bethesda Magazine Editor and Publisher Steve Hull as the Green Brothers. After the crowd warmly welcomed the Green Brothers on stage, they presented Bethesda Magazine Green Awards to winners in five categories.
The program ended with Bethesda Green staff cutting a cake provided by Whole Foods to mark an important milestone, the organization’s 5th anniversary.
