The Critters for The Cure 2014 Calendar Launch Party was held on Monday, September 30th at Zohra Salon in the Cabin John Mall in Potomac.
Thirteen models and their critters came together in April for a photo shoot with photographer Judy Licht at The Kentlands.
The models this year consist of 10 cancer survivors, a radiology oncologist, a surgeon, and a Montgomery County fireman who lost 3 sisters to breast cancer and currently runs his own breast cancer charity called For 3 Sisters.
During Monday's Launch Party, the models were able to see their photo's and cancer stories in print for the very first time with family and friends. About 85 people enjoyed champagne and delicious food, donated by A Slice Of Rockville, The Bean Bag, and ZoLai's. Floral arrangements were donated by DaVinci's.
The 2014 CFTC " One Woman At A Time" Calendars are now available through the CFTC Store at www.crittersforthecure.org.
Proceeds from the sale go to provide financial assistance to women in the community who are battling breast and gynecological cancers. The organization's goal is to help women survive and thrive.
