Men’s clothing store Bonobos, which first came to Bethesda Row late last year with a holiday pop-up shop, will open a permanent “Guideshop” on the Row on July 20, according to a company spokesperson.
The shop, which started in 2007 as a web-only outfit with a mission to make men’s pants fit better, will open at 4835 Bethesda Ave. in a few weeks and today opened its appointment book.
New York-based Bonobos also stocks sweaters, blazers and other items in six other locations where customers can try on clothes before buying them online. Walk-ins are welcome, but the store encourages customers to make an appointment through its website.
The store will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 11 p.m. through 5 p.m. on Sunday.
From a press release:
Assisting visitors in the Guideshop are Bonobos Guides, experts trained in fit and style that walk customers through the unique range of Bonobos items, from suits and denim to button-down shirts and Bonobos’ best selling washed chinos. Bonobos Guides provide the hybrid service of a fit expert and style advisor in a relaxed, one-on-one environment without the stress of a traditional retail store.
