Renovation Brings Life To Old Georgetown Road Office Building – Developer B.F. Saul has inked 12 new companies to leases at its eight-floor, renovated office building at 7700 Old Georgetown Rd. New tenants include Long & Foster Real Estate and the Major League Soccer Players Union. About 98 percent of the building was vacant after an anchor tenant moved out, but despite a slow office market, the building is now filling up. [GlobeSt.com]

Inspector General: County Contractor Improperly Planted Trees – A report from the county’s inspector general says hundreds of trees along Montgomery streets, including about 30 cherry trees in Kenwood, were improperly planted and and are at risk of falling in severe weather. The report also alleges the county’s Department of Transportation removed a contracted arborist who called attention to the problem. The trees were planted by contractor Ashton Manor Environmental. Part Of Bethesda Avenue Closed This Weekend – Bethesda Avenue at Woodmont Avenue will be closed this weekend, from 4 a.m. on Saturday until 9 p.m. on Sunday, according to a sign in front of the Lot 31 construction site. Crews are installing a second tower crane to build an underground parking garage and two apartment buildings.

Who’s Responsible When Dogs Cause Injuries At Dog Parks? –  It’s unclear who should take responsibility for the broken wrist and torn up knee a Potomac woman suffered in April when she said a pack of dogs knocked her over at the Cabin John Regional dog park.
