Bethesda Cares, the homeless prevention and counseling nonprofit, is teaming up with BlackFinn (4901 Fairmont Ave.) for a special fundraiser on Tuesday, June 11.
Mention the ad to the left and BlackFinn will donate 10 percent of any bill to the organization, which last year provided mental health counseling or prescription assistance to 117 chronically homeless or working poor people in the Greater Bethesda area.
Bethesda Cares also provides a housing stabilization program that helped 1,086 people avoid eviction last year, including 584 children.
It recently celebrated its 25th anniversary and started a three-month program to enroll 50 people living on Bethesda streets into Maryland’s Primary Adult Care Program.
