It's Time to Hang Up My Heels

After almost a year (and just shy of 100 blog posts), it's time for me to say goodbye to the blog

May 30, 2013 9:02 a.m.

Last August, I partnered with Bethesda Magazine to create Rock This Frock. I remember preparing my first blog post – I was so excited and nervous with anticipation. This was something that I had dreamed about since a 12 year old me opened up that first fashion magazine.

As some of you may know, this isn't my day job. Even better, Rock This Frock is something so important that I devoted my evenings and weekends to it. Now, almost a year later (and just shy of 100 blog posts), it's time to take hang up my heels and take a break.

I'm so thankful to have had the opportunity to not only write about fashion and styling –  something I'm extremely passionate about, but to have been able to explore the amazing small businesses that have found a home in the beautiful Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Potomac, and Rockville neighborhoods.

Over the last year, I've had the chance to work with many talented people like personal stylist, Rosana Vollemerhausen and jewelry designer, Andrea Tedesco. Not to mention, having the opportunity to collaborate with the amazing people at Bethesda Magazine and build new friendships.

A huge thank you to all the readers that spent time with my blog posts each week. I'm so excited to see that many of you appreciate statement jewelry and a great shoe just as much as I do.

Before I leave, I wanted to share my 10 favorite posts from the last year. What were yours?
