The Community Profits Montgomery kick off event

Community Profits Montgomery, a new initiative that recognizes local businesses that give back to the County held its kick off event at the Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, May 23.

Community Profits Montgomery members as well as business professionals in the County listened to an overview of the state of giving from The Community Foundation for Montgomery County’s deputy director, Anna Hargrave. Following the overview, Vanessa Small of The Washington Post moderated a panel discussion between Nancy Fax of Pasternak & Fidis, Seth Goldman of Honest Tea, and Steve Hull of Bethesda Magazine. Community Profits members Dawson’s Market and Honest Tea donated the food for the event.
