The Hyatt Regency-Bethesda hosted the 2nd Annual Laugh Riot for MobileMed on Thursday, May16th from 7-9 pm in the Crystal Ballroom.
Three Standup Comedy to Go comics entertained the audience—Big Al Goodwin of HBO and XM radio, Shahryar Rizvi who was runner-up in the Funniest Fed contest and Andrea Fuller, a veteran of DC Improv.
Executive Chef Jack Stubbs created special hors d’oeuvres and desserts for the occasion. About 170 people attended, including George Leventhal, Catherine Leggett and Ann Humphrey of Rep. Chris Van Hollen’s office. Proceeds will benefit MobileMed’s healthcare services to low-income, uninsured Montgomery County residents.
