A Short Thing

Three types of shorts you'll want to pick up now

The warm weather will soon be knocking at our door and that means it's time to start investing in a few pairs of shorts. This year, try experimenting with different lengths, textures and fabrics. I've rounded up three types I'm loving this season.

Print: As we've seen with pants, prints are a huge trend for the season, so why not try out shorts with bold floral and graphic patterns, too?

Bermuda: These shorts were seen all over the runways for spring. They offer more coverage for those who don't wish to show off a lot of leg and they're perfect for this chilly weather we are experiencing in the DC area.

Lace: I love the feminine look of lace. It instantly softens up any outfit. These shorts can be an option for dressier spring/summer occasions.

Paired any of these with with flats, ankle-cuff sandals and wedges.
