I love donning the simplest of outfits. A basic t-shirt or dress can immediately become a canvas for one to express themselves through accessories – in this case layers upon layers of them.

But how do you layer on jewelry without looking like you piled on baubles in the dark or risk looking way too overdone?

Here are a few quick tips to get you started:

  • Begin by choosing to layer on either necklaces or bracelets – not both (that could be a catastrophe).
  • Next identify a centerpiece to layer around. This can be a bold necklace or bracelet. Now, start piling it on.
  • As you are layering, don't be afraid to mix baubles with different textures and colors.

Try it out by following the looks here.
