In a previous fall splurge post, Rock This Frock featured a stunner of a ring by Alberto Parada. This past weekend, Parada hosted a trunk show at Amethyst, on Bethesda Avenue. We had the pleasure of meeting the award winning jewelry designer and had the opportunity to check out some of his pieces, including his new red carpet inspired collection.
Parada, a local, self-taught designer, is a leader in the sustainable fine jewelry movement. Using various fair-trade gems and reclaimed gold, he crafts brilliant, modern pieces.
